I just finished the bending and smoothing out. A dry run reveals that it works. I just need to get a square nut for the top where it mates with the die disk. Not bad for one hour.

I don't own a turret but I am excited to see how this project comes out.

Nice work on twisting that rod. I'm looking at your shaft collar and see something that has me confused when comparing to mine.

It looks like your ejector spring is mounted on the set screw for the collar. In trial fitting mine, the spring needs to be clocked about 135 degrees from that set screw so that when the collar is at the top of the rod (ram raised to full height), the spring will lie between the dies in the turret. Yours looks like the spring will line up with the centerline of a die.

        How did you manage that?

        TIA

I am going to finish it up after I put the beast to sleep. Then I will upload it to YouTube, if I can figure out how to upload it.

It actually worked. Will upload when bandwidth is available.

Closer view with it ejecting an 8mm cartridge. I might have to adjust the spring to get a 30-06 cartridge to clear the top at the ejection stage.

For those who might not have the time or fabrication skills to do this, here is an excellent quality alternative from a great company -

I have no affiliation with them whatsoever, but I do use their products and have had excellent customer support from Dan.
