As of YET, I have nothing funny to add to this thread.

SO, I can only say this. DAMN G! Please share the load data and rifle details!

And PLEASE tell us that you made that on a Lee and not a Dillon...

      Thanks everyone! My rig:

      Sig SSG-3000

      Burris 4-16x Eliminator III scope

Loaded on a .308 Lee Classic Reloader I got off ebay for $30!

For projectile I'm using a Sierra 150 grain jacketed bullet

      CCI Large Primers

IMR-3031 powder (43 grains each load)

Nice rifle. A heavier bullet may help tighten up groups as well. I use a 175gr SMK but many folks use 168gr. .

I started reloading .30-06 in 1983 when I started match shooting, then changed to .308 when I built a real match rifle. You couldn't buy match-type ammo then. I don't think of reloading so much for saving money as being able to have ammo that works in my guns and being available whenever I want it. I recently started casting my own lead bullets. When you start doing that you'll find it is a whole new addiction...

Wow that's awesome! What bullet grain do you find works best for .308 accuracy?

YEAH! READ IT AND WEEP YA DILLON LOVERS!

We gots us a RED sniper! (not to be confused with a red snapper- which is a punchline for an entirely different story...)

Too bad you have a rifle that is out of my price range. It is a beauty though. Glad to hear your success with this combination of components and parts...
