Nice thing vs wax, you can reuse them.
Do you have any issues with the glue melting and sticking to the barrel? It seems that you would have a build up that would be hard to get rid of. Do you have a gun dedicated just for the glue bullets or do you switch back and forth between glue and metallic bullets?

No, I shoot out of the factory glock barrel. I'll see if I can dig up some of my fired glue-rounds... most of that kind of stuff is packed away for our upcoming move. There are several YouTube vids demonstrating the idea.

At a friend's recommendation for shooting glue "bullets," I started running a well-oiled mop through the barrel first to help keep the glue from sticking too much, seems to work. The little bit that does is usually on the chamber end and comes right off with a brass barrel brush and Hoppes.

Then again, I've never shot more than a 10 round magazine of "glue-rounds" in any one sitting so I don't know what would happen if the barrel was warmer. All total, I've fired maybe 50 or so of these without any issue. It's kind of a yawner after awhile. You have to cycle the gun manually after each shot. Remember, there's NO POWDER CHARGE.

I have a .20 cal Beeman pistol that's more fun to shoot, is a lot less hassle, and is cheaper. I keep stacked newspapers in a cardboard box backed by a 3/4" piece of plywood. I can shoot that in my garage for hours.

Wax bullets must have been used a lot in those indoor stage shooting Annie Oakley Wild Bill shows of the early 1900's.

Remember not to bring wax bullets to BG a meet-up, and not BG bullets to a 4 legged indoor rat fight.

Way back in the day, high school, some buddies would take the lead out of a 22 and put wax. Then shoot each other. Bruises were plentiful. I just don't know or remember exactly how they made them. Besides giving bruises they were made for small game in close proximity.
