I save 'em up, load a batch, shoot 'em and leave 'em on the range floor just to ruin some brass scrounger's day.

Thats probably how I got these...

Does switching the primer size large to small alter your charge?

you will learn quickly to look at the primers when you pick them up at the range and is usually the first thing that you will look at when priming doesn't feel right.

I usually just toss them now, but I have loaded a couple before... I just loaded with the same charge, but I have never loaded more than one or two at a time

The small primer cases work just as well as the large primer cases. You can use the same powder charge.

Will there be a performace difference using a spp vs lpp using the same powder charge?

No performance difference using spp. I'm starting to like just having one size primer and reloader set up.

All you people that throw yours away are WRONG. Seriously, what is WRONG with you?

There are brass rats all over the world starving and you think you have enough to just toss yours in the garbage or bin... Come on now. USE them!

Stick them in a bag and give them to a friend or someone who is new to reloading. I got a friend that takes all of my LPP 45 because he only wants to keep SPP at his place (He will come around eventually...).

                      anyways...
7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...

And remember- 99.9% of the lawyers ruin it for the other .1%...

I save them till I have enough, prime them by hand, load 'em up and leave them at the range

If anyone wants to donate brass to a first time reloaded, I would show no shame in accepting it.

I have large and small primers since I do not plan on letting brass go to waste.

I am accepting 9mm, .40, and both primer sizes of .45

There ain't no performance hit going from large to small primers. In fact, I used to load a 7mm IHMSA (similar to the 7mm-08) cartridge on specially manufactured .308 Winchester cases with small rifle primer pockets. With a 145 grain bullet, a charge of H322 and a Remington 7-1/2Br primer it was just even more accurate than with a large rifle primer.

If I had my preference I'd load all small pistol primer .45ACP and nothing but. The small primer is better with those small charges of powder.
