    forecast for reloading components

given the situation we all are in, what do you foresee in the future (present - year from now) for components (brass, primers, powder, bullets)?

it seems that things are slowly coming back, unless there is another "scare"

I don't see the comeback at all.

Things are coming back for sure, especially bullets. Primers is the hard one to find.

Perhaps it depends on what kinds you are looking for.

If you gotta have them, there are several places in Riverside that sell primers and one in particular sells them for $35/k for Federal or CCI.

I am a Tula guy and will wait a few days for PVI to get them in. But seriously, Primers seem to be saturating the market once again.

I am having issues with powder but that is still dropping in here and there.

Certainly better off then we were three months ago...

Just checked gunbot.com, and it was no better for small pistol primers than the last time...APS strip only. There aren't any from these major mail order suppliers, or they're being swept up and hoarded so fast when they come up that one could get the impression that they have been unavailable indefinitely.

The only primers I am having a hard time finding are SRP. Everything else is running about $35/1k at my local range. I have been seeing alot of Winchester small and large pistol primers at big 5 stores in my area.

I picked up an 8 lb jug of IMR 4895 about 2 weeks ago, I need SRP and bullets. Waiting on a group buy to happen for bullets and my range to get more SRP. I have seen CCI 400, 450 and BR4 primers online recently but with hazmat charges the price is not worth it to me. I have also seen CCI 41 SRP at my LGS lately but they are gouging at $56/1k

Recently I have found primers (srp, spp, lpmp, lrp) powder and projectiles. Definatly better than a few months ago.

Hopefully everything will be back in stock by the end of the year, so group buys will get going again.

What's a good price for you? I recently bought the CCI military primers from midway for 200 plus hazmat

check your local big5 sporting goods stores. I was able to get Winchester SRP, LRP, SPP for $45/1k @ my local Campbell store. Not amazing prices but still equivalent to paying hazmat & shipping on 4k primers.

How many primers was that? Total cost per 1k primers is not worth it to me if over $45 and that is high. $35-40/1k is more in the right range.
