Nice ingenuity Pablo, a $3 tumbler is quite a deal.

Thanks for all the feed back.
Here's one last pic. Yesterday's range brass, deprimed, ran through the 29.00 Harbor Freight sonic cleaner I got with a 40% coupon.
And then ran through the 3.00 ice cream machine tumbler.
What do you think, more polish?

          Nice job!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Looks good, but why sonic clean and then tumble?

You did a great job. Very nice idea and the results are very good.

A friend of mine is an IDPA competition shooter. He goes through so many rounds he went and purchased a contractor's cement mixer. He says that the cement mixer can easily tumble around 6000 to 10000 rounds of pistol brass with no problem. When he is finished tumbling, he pours all the brass and media on a big shaker. The way he keeps the media from sticking in the flash holes ... he uses #20 grit corn cob blasting media.

Great idea. Always a hoot to see shiny/new looking brass.

I like to run them in the sonic cleaner after decaping to clean out the insides and primer pockets. When they dry the outsides are still a little stained.
No problem reloading like this but why not shine them up a little?
                          They just look better.
