Ice cream maker for a brass tumbler (results on post #9) Pic added.

I stoped by a garage sale today and found a electric ice cream maker machine for 3.00.
I know I'm being cheap but has anyone tried using one for a tumbler?
My wife thinks I'm nuts but I am having the laugh.
    So far it's working great.
    See post #9 for results.

Buy it so I can get jealous that you have a tumbler and an ice cream maker

I am having a really hard time saying anything funny about this. SO then it must not be a good idea...

Does an ice cream maker tumble or does it just spin something around inside mixing things up? You might find your shells might be a bit cold when they come out.

If it has to spin something inside like a whisk or whatever then I think you might have the opportunity to have some nicely dinged brass cases. Hey give it a shot and see how it goes.

Worst case you get flavored shells... Just let me know, I got some blue bullets you can load into them. Heck, In another few months I will have several other colors.
7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...

And remember- 99.9% of the lawyers ruin it for the other .1%...

Won't know till you give it a try. At $3.00 the price is worth the gamble!!!

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I left out the mixer part and plugged the hole so it just tumbles.
I didn't have any brass polish so I'm just running with dryer sheets.

                  Okay
Here are the result of my 3.00 ice cream machine tumbler. The outer bucket works great to catch the Medium under a screen.
Pour back into the stainless steel can and ready for the next batch.
I knew as soon as I saw that thing the light bulb flashed in my head like right before they burn out.
Next up I'll post the pic of the 3.00 press I got.

                    Bravo.

Before I bought a tumbler, I tried all kinds of crazy ways to clean brass. Coffee can chucked in a drill clamped in a vise, etc.

I never even thought about the old ice cream maker sitting on the shelf.
