My first time loading I used R7 to make a 9mm round.

I mistakingly bought R-7 instead of AA7. HEY! I was a noob and I was told it had a big 7 on it...

So anyways, until this thread I have had a bottle of R-7 minus 4gr or so but with a 115gr fmj 9mm projectile in the bottle sittign on the shelf.

Cool beans, now I can start reloading for .223...

Reloader 7 works great in 7.62x39 loads, I also used it in 5.56 and 5.45x39 loads

The light loads are used for dispatching coyotes now and then. Since about '89, the .308 with heavier loads has been used mostly during the Cali. bear hunting season.

ok, so i went back to the lab and did a couple of loads at 21.5 and 21.8 and added the carbine buffer and it ran great, 21.8 felt pretty good. i can pump out quite a few plinking rounds, for defensive purposes i'd use something else.

It worked well for throwing 440gr bullets out of my .50 Beowulf AR back when I had it. :P

Last bump of this thread....I reloaded some .223 @ 22.1 to 22.5 grains. Shot like a champ very accurate plinking load. 55gr hornady fmj's. 22.5 work well with the spikes st-2 buffer, 22.1 still get some failure to lock the bolt back after last round. Ran both with a carbine buffer and they both shot well and cycled well. So in summation 22.5 is a good load and 22.1 works ok too. With 22.5 no over pressure issues, so if reloader 7 is the only thing on the shelves then by all means pick it up. Great plinking round and you'll be able load a bunch....happy shooting! Done....
