I'm interested in learning about reloading in fresno. Is there a group set up to do this?

I was part of a marine club...and this was exactly what they did. The proceeds from the raffles would go toward the club. I'm interested as well!

                1) A place where everyone can meet (a place with no alcohol and food is served would be ideal)
                2) Some where we could have a room or area to our selves and not bother other or be bothered by others
3)A monthly meeting time and date
                4) That a member can show a presentation with actual techniques and have a Q&A session afterwards
                5) Possible raffle and give aways to members

This is looking real good and promising.

Let's get the ball rolling; how about if get together sometime next weekend for a casual initial meeting at a mutual convenient place and hour to discuss our project.

I would like to accommodate as many interested members as possible; remember, this concept was created under the "state wide" basis.

Even when this initial meeting it's been held in the So Cal. region, it doesn't means an exclusion to our fellow Nor. Cal members.

That being said, I'm open for a Friday the 29th dinner or a Sat/Sun: breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, etc.; at the same time I'm willing to travel to any where in LA/OC/IE/SD for this meeting.

Any ideas/recommendations for a good place?

PS. I'll be working the Calguns booth at the Costa Mesa gun show this weekend so, if you happen the be there, don't be shy, swing by the booth and shake a friendly hand.......

The first meeting is in the planning stage. Things are beginning to happen. Feel free to suggest date and place to be considered. Keep in mind to keep it central some where around either the 5/22/57 or 91/55 for our Inland Empire friends.

Building a network of trusted reloaders for instruction, help, and trading is a great idea. Not sure how much face to face is necessary or even beneficial except for new blood learning the ropes. It might be worth building some sort of Wiki where we can post information that we have learned throughout our experiences, but really this forum is ideal as there is little room for opinion in a Wiki, and a lot of reloading is opinion or "what works for me".

It was SCMAS - They had it at Denny's. I signed up, but due to the meeting date, I was only able to make it for two meetings.

May not be ideal location, but I have a a 1,000 sq ft open space in a retail plaza in huntington Beach. Would be BYOC...bring your own chair.

I'm in. I hope to be a NRA certified reloading instructor (metalic cartridge and shotshell) within the next month or so. Also, I think I might know a place with a selection of presses too use, a chronograpgh and a place to testfire a few rounds. The road to it isn't paved but, it's in the best shape that I've ever seen it.
