Big Bronco has a nice and interesting project, he may need some assistance.
Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary wood working tools.
Looking for volunteers willing to lend a hand.....

I'm not experience by any means, but I'm looking to "network" with fellow CG members who also reload, especially though just beginning like myself, and of course those who are much more experienced.
I'm definitely interested in a "CG reloading club".ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕComment

BigBronco came up with a similar idea a while ago and we got the ball rolling in a few areas.
The socal reloading community has been doing bullet group buys periodically, and theyve gotten quite large (220k+ bullets each buy) and weve been getting insanely low prices on components. When i placed the order with Xtreme, i did so under the name "Southern California Reloaders Guild" and i think Clownpuncher did the same when he placed his order.
If enough of us get together under one entity we may be able to hold some serious sway with these companies, and qualify for special discounts. I doubt there would be any brick and mortar store that could come even close to the volume we will be able to do as a club.
In addition to large discounts, if we charge a $5 a month in dues, we can purchase club machinery. A couple Girauds, some dillon super swagers, etc.. that will be loaned a week at a time to club members through the mail. After a few years we could all have some incredible machinery at our disposal.
There could be heads of local chapters in most major communitys that could function as a hub or gathering place for monthly meetings and equipment storage.Comment

We haven't set a date yet?
That is the next step (since we have enough interest in this project). Any ideas about a good place to have breakfast or lunch that may be convenient for all of us.
Before we jump into the press I would like to have a meeting to fine tune the concept, structure, potential places, equipment at hand, etc.
I'm open to any suggestions and date (as long it doesn't conflict with my sched. working gun shows or Calguns events/shoots).Would you like to participate in the Right to Keep and Bear Arms movement in California?

^^^ Exactly; I think we first talked about this concept a couple of years ago at his place in G.G.
We have been in contact talking about how to take this concept to an upper level and at this moment, I do believe the conditions are just right to move it forward.Last edited by mrlonewolf; 03-15-2013, 4:15 PM.Would you like to participate in the Right to Keep and Bear Arms movement in California?
