    I need a LIFE!!

Okay. I do not have the attention span to read all of these posts, but good info!

According to my records, I declared the shortage over on the 15th of FEB.
Apparently people did not hear me so I will bump it up to the 15th of March. At that point it will be over and you will see a lot more stuff on the shelves. There. If they still do not listen then I will have to declare the 15th of April, no wait, taxes, 16th of April the end of the shortage. Heck, I might even make another 500 44 mag for my Dealge to play with just to get rid of a bottle or two of H-110 or that vihuooauouvitori stuff I got...

I just realized something too, no matter HOW much crap that I have stashed and saved up to now be able to reload, I STILL do not have enough...

I love reading about people whining about gougers.

      I got $350 for a jug of HP38. Was that a gouge? I think I paid $125.
I got $300 for Wolf SRP I paid $70 for.
I've got some TAC I'll be offering for $500 if you're interested ;-) LOL
Yes, I've sold locally and not shipped anything illegally.
Oh, and for Federal .22 I paid $140/8 boxes, I sold for $100/box.

I hope the shortage continues for a while, I bought 30,000 SRP I need to unload!

Oh damn! If those are prices for 1LB jugs (I do not think they are) then I am gonna be RICH! I got about 20lbs of powder I need to get rid of then that are unopened...

LoL. I dunno bout the primers though. I can sell off about 12k of mine and still be okay but I am holding on to them to make bullets with instead.

I bet you complain when gas prices are driven up. What would you say to $16 a gallon for gas. You would be cursing the oil companies for sure.

Most of the new to the gun culture won't know what the price of ammo and components were last Halloween, so they don't really know how much they're getting ripped. Same with the guns.

Really? Selling unobtainable HP38 that won't get out in 8# jugs again for 2 years? for what the market will bear is the same as betraying Christ?!? LOL I'm sure when it's $600 for a jug I'll be mad I didn't wait to sell!

Buy all the powder and bullets you want for yesterdays prices. Hey, I'm selling Milled AKs for $500 each, but I'm out of stock. You can place a backorder though, which will be filled never. Same with Pmags, same prices as in Dec., $10 each! OOS though.

If you want a thousand of the 3k .223 projectiles I bought last night, look for them on gunbroker for $250/k.

                That's cheap! I've been getting $150 to $200 per 500 for zmax!

Much as you might like to think poor, uninformed newbies buy from gunbroker, I've sold to more than a few gun dealers. Wonder what their prices will be!

I forgot, I've been getting $40/100 for zmax .223 bullets.

I guess that's why gasoline is so high, inflated due to my high bullet prices! :-D

Seriously, nobody cries more, but is tighter with a nickel, than calgunners.

In the meantime, I'll keep driving around looking for that .86/gallon gasoline. Today's prices are a ripoff, it should cost what it did in '88!

You'll fit in well when or if this becomes a black market type of situation. If I had as many primers and projectiles as you have, I'd be a shooting fool.

This morning I lucked out and was able to buy several cases of ammo. On the way home I stopped at the gas station where a drop-dead gorgeous blonde was filling up her car at the next pump.

She looked at the ammo in the back of my SUV and said in a very sexy voice, "I'm a big believer in barter, big boy". "Would you be interested in trading sex for ammo?"

I thought a few seconds and then asked, "what kinda ammo ya got?"

I am not sure what to do. I have ammo that NEEDS to be reloaded clearly, but I do not want to reload it because I know that right now I can use Blue Dot for 44, 45, 9, 40, 380 or whatever, but H-110 I might just save for some +p++p+ 9mm.

But I am sadly kinda hoarding but I can go to the range any time and shoot all day long and be fine also.

Here is the thing that more folks need to do. Sign a pact with a friend that whenever they go into a gun store they need to ALWAYS buy at least one box of ammo. From all the years of that I must have like 40k .22lr and half of them are CB SHORTS because I had so much fun with my home made silencers before popo showed up and ruined it for me. But still, we all visit gun stores and if we made it a point to buy a little each time then we would not break the bank and still have a lot of good stuff in the end.

Today I was at Chino PD in the morning for a test. Afterwards I went to Bravo burgers and had a nice breakfast. Then I planned my route and it went like this:

Phillips wholesale: got a bottle of International Clays and some ingots.
Turners in Rancho: Fondled the Circuit Judges in 44 mag and .22lr/.22mag. Almost put a down on both but then I remembered that I was unemployed.
*** Pro Shop: Picked up 300 Federal (soft like butta!) LPM primers (will work on a bottle of H110 for my Deagle)
BTW, *** Pro Shops got in 4 palates of ammo on Wednesday. They had it EVERYWHERE in the store and they got whittled down in about 3 days or so. I knew about it but did not bother to head over there.
Ammo Bros: Picked up a Bottle of Clays, 500 115gr 9mm TMJ (not for me, for my friend...) and a bottle of Win296. Noticed they had a LOT of reloaded ammo waiting to sell. 10mm, .45, 44 mag, 9mm, ALL kinds of stuff near Rancho.
Finally stopped at Bullseye and picked up a bottle of WSF.

Hey what did I care. I had a good feeling today. But in the past it used to cost my friend and I about $80+ to buy ammo at Turner's the day before and then go shooting up in big bear on 1N09. So we decided to come up with a pact that we followed and always purchased SOMETHING that we can shoot when we go shooting and as a result I have several hundred boxes of all kinds of crap that is all mixed up 10 years later...

I still have Sellor and Belliot .303 ammo with like $2.99 or $3.99 on a box of 20...

Stop *****ing, go out and buy when you can.

BTW, *** Pro shop in Rancho had about 7 boxes of LPM federal primers for about $50 each which was why I just got 300 and they had a stash of powder at first glance too but NO GODDAMN HS-6!

Let's all try something, for 1 week do not go out looking for any powder or gun related items. If you got a baby in jail then pick it up but get or ask for NOTHING else. Then go back to the stores and see what they got in stock after the week is up. In the meantime build a computer, read an E-book, write some character sketches, apply for some better jobs, see how many fake resumes you can make and post at careerbuilder.com.

sorry, I dunno where this is heading now so I am jumping post...

I noticed that my local Walmart (Duarte, Ca.) had a notice on their ammo case yesterday that due to the shortage of ammo, all sales are limited to 3 boxes per customer per day.

My local gun shop (Gunrunners) had a decent stock of most calibers last Saturday, but appeared to be down a bit yesterday. In fact, yesterday they were bingo on 9mm.

i don't get that logic. if you reload, then why would you get rid of your equipment? Since i started reloading i haven't bought any factory ammo. Starting to reload now is closing the barn door.....just like the folks who post that the ar's that people purchased at panic time will be on the market soon. Uh no, just the flippers. at this point the high priced ar's aren't selling now, until something happens. these posts crack me up and infuriate me at the same time...
