[What Just Happened?]

I bought some of Miwall's reloaded 9mm rounds last weekend at the Costa Mesa show and noticed that the cases are not brass. Are they nickel or nickel-plated brass or something else? And are they reloadable? Thanks in advance.

If MiWall reloaded them, they either brass or nickel plated brass.

Nickled cases can be reloaded but have a reputation for splitting easier/quicker than non nickled brass cases. I have some that have been reloaded so many times the nickle has worn off the cases.

Ah, thank you. I didn't think they would be aluminum as I've only seen Blazer use that stuff and the cases are mixed headstamps.

Miwall apparently buys their once used brass from LE if that helps at all. Since LE is required (I guess) to use new ammunition, the spent brass gets is bought/used by Miwall.
