It's more of a gag gift than anything else. They basically took their already high priced critical defense rounds and charged $1 to $4 more for the box. However, if you're just going to buy one box of ammo for home defense loading then it's not that big of a deal. The only drawback would be 'splaining your "zombie horde ammo" to a jury if you ever had the misfortune to use it to defend yourself against a home invader.

IMHO, the whole thing makes gun owners look like immature morons. Seems like a really good way to get the Federal Government involved in how ammo is packaged, much like they did with cigarettes. Put a comic book character on the package of something intended for the 18-up crowd, you're bound to get some nanny state unwanted attention.
