Its 308 so no. The load was 46gr wc846, 168 Amax, cci-br, Lc-ofb. I have some hornady ball ammo here Im going to load up for this weekend. It wont shoot as good as the 168 amax but Im hoping for 1".nice shooting pc!!! that 2nd target done with the wc846 and hornady's recipe you just got? i too have nicer ar's that should be able to do that, but i won't be putting a scope on them anytime soon. they just have aimpoint t1's and irons for fast engagement at the carbine classes i run in. but it's nice to know the accuracy is there if when i need it.
thanks for the GREAT TIP on sanding and polishing the powder funnel and sliders. makes perfect sense to do so. i'll do that to my setup while putting it together (hopefully it gets here tomorrow).
hey khanh, for all the precision stuff, i still plan on doing that on the rock chucker single stage. but its nice to see that you can mass produce sub moa ammo quickly on the 650. if i ever get as good in reloading quality control like pc, i may just switch to the 650 for everything
NOTE: I did not sand and polish I only polished with Flitz and an old T-shirt by hand. I polished everything the powder comes in contact with. I think Enos has a how-to on it.
I also polished the powder bars. Then I installed the big blue knob to make fine powder adjustments much easier.
Here is what I have done to make my Dillon powder measures throw more consistent charges with all powders. Not just coarse grained powders like Varget, 4198, ect… First remove the plastic hopper from the measure. If its yellow and cracked simply order a new plastic one from Dillon or a new...

harbor freight sells a small buffing pad for a drill that would work great for that, its the one on the left side half round, they used to sell them by themselfs not sure now. just have to make sure you get any compound/polishing cream out of there.

the new press has arrived!!! thanks to everyone that gave me advice. this thing is awesome. i stayed up most of the night playing with it. setup was a breeze, took about 30 mins or so to put it all together?

now i have to clean up the garage so i can get the reloading bench setup and then the mass reloading fun begins. this thing is huge compared to my rock chucker lol
(yes, you do get a bowl of rice with every crank of the handle.. )Comment
