I found one box of Remington UMC at Huntington Beach last weekend.

I find it cheaper to order them from ammo to go. No tax and shipping was about 22 bucks for 1000 rounds.

well my search for 45acp is ongoing... i found a total of 6 boxes of blazer brass out of the bunch of wal-marts i called. i guess i can update which stores sell ammo. all of them out of 45acp

I just went to the walmart off the 805 near the boomers and they had no 9mm, 357mag, 38spl, 308win, only a box or two of 45auto. they did have a lot of 223rem.

didn't see any 100rd packs... saw a bunch of 50rd for $25.95 and the 20rds for i forget how much... the 50rd packs were cheaper so i ignored the 20s

Duarte Walmart has lots of .40 and .45 auto WWB. They are out of 9mm.

westminster walmart had 50 rounds of remington 'metal case' (FMJ) for $25

had a couple other 20 round boxes but i don't recall the prices. also no 100 round bulk boxes.

walmart in san marcos has 3 100rd boxs of Federal 223 for $39.99. I did not take them since my wife is nearby.

Lakewood: 9mm and 45 all gone.

As of last night 01-18-2009 the Huntington Beach WalMart is out of all pistol ammo. Still plenty of Winchester x100 round value parks of 12GA #7 1/2 and #8 shot. $22.00 per case of x100 shells. Glad I started stocking up after the primaries...
