Hi Forum - I'm new to the forum but not new to forum-ing. Just thought I'd create a thread dedicated to spotting ammo & ammo sales (& for some, bragging about their hauls) at Wal-marts only across southern california. I know I've had a heck of a time just trying to figure out which Wal-Marts actually stock ammo, much less in quantity, much less catching a random post about a sale.

I will update this list as it evolves. So far we have....

Below is a document graciously created and uploaded by -Redhorse- of prices found at Walmart in early 2008.
Unfortunately, prices have risen recently like gasoline so use this information with discretion; as a baseline it's good to evaluate the basket price of certain calibers at walmart vs. purchasing online.

Thanks VERY MUCH for this info and taking the time to organize and upload it.

Garden Grove : Very well stocked.
Long Beach (Carson St.) : Lowish stock, but has the essential calibers
Long Beach (Town Center - next to I-605) : Does not sell ammo.
Westminster sells ammo (new info).

The Huntington Beach location on Talbert does sell ammunition, tho' the only stuff I've bought there is 9mm which they have only in WWB 50x and 100x.

Redlands Wal-Mart sells ammo as does the Wal-Mart in Beaumont.

Walmart in Pico Riveria is a no, to ammo.

Walmarts in Lancaster and Palmdale are also well stocked.
