Really? I thought it was cuz "Sears" doesn't come to your shop to swap out all the broken tools.... and they don't have any girly posters or calenders!

I use the LNL-AP for .50 Beowulf and have had good luck with CH4D dies. The Lee dies are hit and miss.

For anyone looking for a true progressive .50 BMG press, here it is:

I'm saving my money for one since they are about $2400

The Dillon BFR press looks interesting but it is not a true progressive and is not auto indexing. It is a lot cheaper than the TX-50.

The Hornady is $406 but I would use the Midway promo code and get $100 off so th enet would be $306. If both brands wee even the price of the Hornady would sway me over.
What promo code would that be?

The L-n-L AP would not qualify for promo discount because it is on sale at $385.99. Promo applies only to totals for regular prices. Been there/ done that.

I don't think the quote above is correct. At least it wasn't in my case. I bought my LNL when they had the 1000 bullet give back. Bought the press at a reduced price as well. I still got my bullets. Hornady wants the bar code off the shipping box as proof of purchase. What you paid for it is immaterial. You'll get your bullet promotion. Hornady rules could have changed. I sincerely doubt that they did, but it is possible. Call Hornady and ask.

They're talking about the MidwayUSA discount code not working on already discounted merchandise.

I use a Hornady L'n'L to load mass quantities of 9mm for my IDPA habit. I even use Lee dies in it

Works great so far, though I do need to build a new reloading bench, my existing one is groaning under the load.

Our IDPA habit is also generously fed with my LNL. Somewhere around 25,000, 9mm and 45ACP. Great press!!!
