I'll vote yes. I did a test awhile back with my reloaded 9mm round. The primer I put a sealant, taper crimp (lee taper crimp), Berry's plated bullet. I submerged the round in a 5 gallon plastic bucket for 3 hours. But it's a static test not like the wash cycle like yours.

Outcome, the round fired.

Today is not my day. I promise from now on to check my range pants before putting them in my laundry. I remember these rounds from this weekend. After clearing the gun the RO handed me back the ejected round and I put it in my pocket so I could move off the line. So here is another round to test. This one went through the wash and dry, arghhh. I still vote both fire.
