I'll hazard a guess and say no. I will say that it is one of the cleanest rounds of ammo I've seen in a while.

I voted no but would only be mildly surprised if it did. That's a long time to be under water and bounced around.

Since you said that you reloaded it, I'm going to assume that you have a bullet puller. See if the powder turned to mush. Dry, loose powder, and It'll probably fire. Wet or clumped powder, and it most likely won't fire.

I am betting that since it is a front loading machine and they use so little water, I think it will fire. It was not swimming in water like a top loader.

Man, my girl would kill me if she knew I was washing bullets with laundry.

See the 1911 thread where a poster just mentioned firing his PT99 90ft under water.

Today is not my day. I promise from now on to check my range pants before putting them in my laundry. I remember these rounds from this weekend. After clearing the gun the RO handed me back the ejected round and I put it in my pocket so I could move off the line. So here is another round to test. This one went through the wash and dry, arghhh. I still vote both fire.

Vote: Yes (man, the dryer played hell with the case, didn't it?)

Man, you're like my 8yr old boy....I'm always pulling stuff out of his pockets before the pants go in the wash...

It should go bang and out the barrel. But shoot it out of your cheapest gun when you test it. Where is a 9mm Hi-Point pistol when you need one?
