Dillon Customer service

In my former life, I had two Dillons -- one set up for .45s and the other for .32s. I was on the phone with one of their staff one day while at work, and he said, "What's a nice girl in Berkeley ordering all this dangerous stuff? Do your bosses know you shoot?"

It was hilarious. I always liked them and think they have great products.

Stuff like this makes me glad I bought a Dillon 550 over the other presses I was considering.

+1 on that one. I am even considering getting another one as an Xmas present to myself...

Well time to resurrect this thread, last night while resizing my 9mm brass I snapped the ring indexer on my XL650 I sent in a e-mail last night with my info and what not and today I got a confirmation that I had a package being shipped out to me, w00t! I love Dillon Customer Service! No questions asked, no nothing! Just a replacement part on the way, luckily for me I was still able to manually rotate the shell plate and go about my resizing

Dillon has the best customer service & warranty!
I have broken, lost from moving many parts and they will send you replacements. If your house burns down " hope it never happens"
they will replace your reloader for free.

I've been a happy customer since 1994.

You might what to invest in the Dillon spare parts kit. That way you don't have to wait on smaller parts that break. Then call Dillon to send the part that was broken. Makes for almost zero down time.

Already have a spare parts kit, none of those parts have broken yet I still have 3K+ rounds of 9mm I have loaded up already in my safe

Spare parts kit is great. I figured out my dillon swage tool (cam was in backwards so it was sticking) and it is awesome, and the large media separator has been well worth what I paid for it.

I had to join the bucket club for my tumbled brass, 5 gallon bucket that is. My 9mm and 45acp buckets are overflowing .

i am very happy with the dillion products! they are on par with my camdex. the machines are very easy to changeover and parts are easy to replace.

my only quirk is that they still have not given me a break. i own 5 1050's and in the process of getting more....

...But if thats my only problem then i am in good shape.

dillion machines out perform all others!...(besides my camdex )

Called Dillon a couple times, never waited more than a minute to talk to someone live. You have to love that nowadays...

I also loved reading the warranty information that came with my press. I love a good "No B.S." warranty policy; a good sign of a company that stands behind their product.

Had to put my two cents in. A friend gave me a very well used 450 that had been converted to a 550. I was new to reloading and wanted to make sure the 450 was working as it should. I emailed Dillion asking how much to service the machine, stating that it was given to me by a friend who was a professional shooter and had run 10's of thousands of rounds through it. They gave me a # and said $49. I shipped it to them and about 3 weeks later got a box back with what appeared to be a new reloader! They replaced a lot of parts and had no signs of it ever being a 450. I looked around inside the box to find out what it was going to cost wondering why they didn't contact me to get paid first. THought it was really nice to be treated like an honest customer. Found a list showing all the work they did with a total of about $200. Couldn't find an invoice...so I called Dillon and the gentleman told me that they take care of their equipment and there was no charge!!!!!

Talk about backing up your product and customer service. They certainly made a customer out of me. I have since spent quite a few $$$$ with Dillon as any company that treats their customers like this deserves mine and everyone else's business. Thanks DILLON

FYI: I now have two Dillon 550's. Still learning but having a great time doing it. If I could only find a way to quite working and reload full-time...hmmm(and still eat). Thanks to all those providing insight on this forum.
