I actually did break something in a fit of anger and told Dillon what I broke and how ( I came clean and said it was my F up) and they sent me the entire list of parts for free.

That has me sold for life.

Ive encountered reps that will give you anything and everything and I also had 1 guy telling me to repair it myself.(A grumpy SOB at that) The lower arms on the 550B that pivot are aluminum and the pins are steel and I have had a galling problem 3 times. On 2 occasions they sent me new arms. The grumpy guy told me to get some sandpaper and sand the inside of the galled surfaces.

I bought a 550 setup in 1991 and has worked great untill before Christmas when primer feeds parts wore out. I called Dillon and the rep Diagnosed the problem and sent all the new parts needed with an up to date manual and upgrade parts , 4 days later the parts were installed and the 550 works better than ever!! Great product . Great reps. Great service.

I completely destroyed a .223 sizing die. Stuck the case and then stripped every thread trying to get it out.

Sent it back to Dillon with a note and got a new one in the mail a week later.

Since then I've talked several friends into buying a Dillon press.

So how many Dillons do you have now?

I love Dillon Customer Service! No questions asked, no nothing! Just a replacement part on the way, luckily for me I was still able to manually rotate the shell plate and go about my resizing
