I was just loading and the return spring on my press broke, so I called Dillon and since I was on the phone, I asked about getting a new screw top for my inertial bullet puller. I broke it and I know it was my fault (be sure you keep it on tight, they loosen after a couple of whacks). I was reaching for my credit card and they said a new spring and cap are in the mail, no charge. I said again that I felt it was my fault the cap broke, but they insisted it was a warranty item.

I stepped on a primer loading tube and bent it. When I called Dillon to buy a replacement, I got the same story, "It's in the mail, no charge".

That is the main reason why I would not hesitate to buy another Dillon.

I had a primer system that had stripped bolt holes, but I also needed a bout 10 other small parts that tend to wear out with time and I also ordered ammo cases and case gauges. Well, I only payed for the cases and gauges. I bought my press used and have ordered from dillon twice, and they were good enough to send about $20 worth of parts that I was willing to pay for.

Dillon is the best.

I inherited a 650 from a good friend that passed back in 1996. Its one of the originals. I had a problem with the primer indexing so I called them and told them of my problem, gave them my serial number of the unit, the guy laughed and said that this was one of the oldest he had seen, mid 1980's model. They sent me a complete primer indexing component for large pistol. I too went for my wallet when the guy said "have a great day, you will receive it in a few days".................
Thats why I support Dillon.

They stand behind their products even if you're not the original purchaser, most of the competition shooters load their ammo with Dillon machines.I've had the same experience when I started with the RL450 charge handle broke called and an upgraded one was sent eventually I upgraded to a Dillon RL550B.

Stuff like this makes me glad I bought a Dillon 550 over the other presses I was considering.
