Why does brass prep have to be so much work!

Just primed 350 cases after several hours of sizing, trimming, and de-burring! Gonna try and get them loaded by tomorrow night, only to shoot them this weekend and start all over!

that is why you have to either really like reloading or be really broke to actually go thru with it. I am both.

Thats of course talking about those of us who don't have $1000+ worth of reloading gear.

eh, 350 rounds is a day at the bench.. a few hours actually.. I processed about 3000 223's before my last decapping pin died. :P then I switched back to a pistol caliber..

I enjoy it, and I am broke, but I also really like the constancy of the loads.

Gonna look at a progressive next!

It's the trimming that kills me... What's the cheapest, fastest way? I gotta know!! (or get off my wallet for one of those electric jobbers)

Yep, Giraud or a Dillon trimmer is the way to go.

If you want to go cheap and still pretty fast, the Lee chucked into a power drill is damned good for $15/caliber. Get a cutter with the wooden ball handle for each pilot you buy.

I just looked up this video, I know what I am going to get next!

10 cases trimmed, deburred, and chamfers in under a minute!

If it was easy, everyone would do it.
We NEED people that are too lazy to reload so we can pick up their brass.

I use a Possum Hollow trimmer set in a Sinclair chuck with my Black and Decker cordless. Quick, easy, painless, and about 25.00 at Midway.

Oh, and you are chucking up your tools in a drill right, not by hand??

But also since I cant goto the range every day, reloading as a hobby lets me get my gun fix everyday. Plus I listen to the radio while I work, and the hour(s) I spend at a time just fly by.

I still use the forster trimmer for trimming length and removing the primer crimp. It takes a awhile but I enjoy it and I am married, (broke ).
