Same here. I actually find it relaxing. I don't consider it to be a chore...but then again, It's still 'new' to me, since I only started getting into reloading 2 months ago, and have only prep'd about 250 cases.

+1 on the Giraud trimmer. Ordered mine and it arrived in Christmas eve as well.

Got it setup for 223 now but got the parts for 308 as well.

Can trim 100 casings in about 10 minutes or so.

the giraud and the rcbs trim mate case prep are the perfect tools for fast, precision brass prep.

Randall, How is the quality on Scharch? Can I really order it and not to any prep for 3-gun (short range) and plinking ammo?

              It's good.
Scharch is not just a company that processes brass.
Thay actually make the case processing and inspection machines that most large commercial reloaders use to process and pressure test fired casings so Scharch knows what it takes to process brass properly.

I have almost bought a camdex on a couple of occasions.
The one I was looking at will load 2500+ per hour.
All you do is shovel components into it...

Good thing is, you don't have worry too much about loading next time with the same cases.
