I bought 1000 of their "SS109" 62gr bullets and have seen about 2 MOA (1" at 50 yards) with 22gr of TAC when shooting prone with sandbags and a 1x optic (Aimpoint). The 62gr bullets mentioned in the OP should be slightly better since they don't have the penetrator - which I understand is not perfectly concentric and throws the bullet off. At the time I ordered only the SS109's were available - otherwise I would have gone for the lower cost version in the OP.

FWIW - I used these in a "CQB Carbine" course yesterday and my groups were on par with the best in the class. This was all COM, quick shooting - not precision/match shooting. I certainly didn't feel like the bullets were limiting my performance in this type environment.

I'll give it a few more days but right now it looks like the 62gr. w/o cannelure are what get the most interest. I'm opting for the ones without the steel penetrator, as some ranges won't allow bullets that attract a magnet, plus it sounds like they are more accurate. Should be able to duplicate SS109 ballistics pretty close and be able to use them at any range.

Anyone want to share their SS109 recipe? I've had good luck with 26 gr. of W748 in WW commercial cases and Winchester small rifle primers. The same load works well with 69 gr. HPBTMs.

        Bulk Bullet Order Placed

Sorry, this took a bit longer than I had planned. I placed the order for the 62 gr. lead core .223 bullets today. There wasn't enough interest in any other weight. They should arrive around the end of the month. If you have already indicated interest in 1000 you are good to go. I would sell another 1000 to someone if desired. The rest I plan to shoot myself. The price is still $74.00/1000 and the freight is included. I'll post another message when I have a delivery date. You can call me at 925-944-1420 to arrange pick up; I'm in the SF East Bay near Walnut Creek. I could mail them from here in one of the flat rate USPS boxes but you would have to pay that postage. They should fit in a small flat rate box, which will ship for $4.95.

Thanks for your patience - JC

          62 gr. .223 shipped today

The order shipped from Tenn. today. It is going USPS and they say they cannot give me a tracking number so I guess we'll just have to wait until it arrives. I'd guess we'll get it around the middle of next week. As of now all are spoken for. If anyone has changed their mind please let me know.

          Thanks,
          JC

            .62 gr .223 arrived today

The bulk bullet order arrived today. They look good. They were tripple boxed and doubble bagged. If you spoke for 1000 of these give me a call (925-947-0540) and I'll give you directions to pick up or I can mail them as mentioned previously.
