I forgot to mention that I'm in the SF East Bay (for pick up). I can mail them to you but you'd have to pay the postage from my location to yours. They should fit in a $4.95 flat rate USPS Priority Mail box. So far the primary interest is in the 62gr, none yet for the 69gr.

        Thanks,

1/9 should be fine. "They" say 1/9 is good from 45 to 75 gr.

They are from Wideners Reloading Supply. They don't list the manufacturer, just say mil spec. They do have heavier bullets in bulk but I can't use them.

                  There's no such thing as "mil-spec" 69gr 0.224" bullets.
These are likely blasting fodder, not target bullets.

I just shot 75 grain and 69 grain and my 1:9 didn't stabilize either for crap. 50-55GR is what its preferring right now from an 18" upper. Maybe you'll have better luck with it.

Depends on the velocity, which then depends on the barrel length...

These bullets are made by PRVI Partisan. I have about 2500 of them. I havent shot them yet but the are by no means match quality from my assesment.

Right, which is why I gave my barrel length for those who may be looking at this stuff...

I'm just repeating what's on their website: http://www.wideners.com/. Go to Reloading Components then Bullets then Mil-Spec Bullets. There are other bullets on that page that are not loaded in current US military ammunition but perhaps they still meet a military specification, or maybe "Mil-Spec Bullets" is the brand name? I've never tried them but no, I probably won't replace my Sierra #1380s with them.

I bought a few K of the 62gr fmj's without the cannelure and they most definately are only good for blasting.. or for blasting at tac rifle matches 100yds or less........
