Whereas the O-frame presses like the RCBS can easily take that force.
If what I say is true? I have never found a reloader that was a high energy reloader, getting their hands out of their pockets required too much effort on my part. To prove the ram is kicked back at the bottom and forward at the top remove the die and then carefully lean over and look down at the top of the ram while raising the ram. When the ram reaches the bottom it is kicked forward at the top and backsword at the bottom.
And then there is the curiosity of the reloader, they acquired a press, understanding how it function was not required, not required but all they did was make this stuff up.
Try to remember, I suggested you remove the die, when sizing a case the die centers/aligns the case, again trying to overcome the case's ability to resist sizing is a bad habit because of the linkage going into a bind. But why worry, you knew none of this existed for all 0of these years. and you missed it when members decided RCBS was having their presses made in in another country, they thought the ram was flopping back and forth. They did not know the die aligned the case on presses made in the U.S. and other countries. I had a Rock Chucker that had a very ruff life, I was sizing a stack of cases and then suddenly and without a warning it came apart. I called RCBS, I blamed my wife, RCBS would have no part it it, they offered me another press and I did not want to exchange my press for a press that was not made in this country so they sent me parts for the repair and I am happy and pleased with their service.
The part that absorbs all of that force is the part that came apart.
