I like 115gr RMR in house 9mm FMJ projectiles with Titegroup powder.
I will use any SPP (and even srp, in a pinch).
Excellent groups and not too dirty.

i don't even know why they make small pistol and small pistol magnum primers

there is no increase in pressure or velocity using small rifle primers and any pistol that is having misfires with those primers are probably having misfires with small pistol too

please instead of spewing nonsense test it yourself any differences are within standard deviation of brand chose or even lot number

For cast or coated bullets, try Alliant Sport Pistol.

There is "optimum" and there is "good enough", and they say each type of primer works best for a particular type of powder. In normal times there are plenty of every type of primer to choose from, so I'm glad the market has provided for a wide variety of components that can be matched for an "optimum" solution depending on your needs.

Primers: any small pistol, preferably non-magnum.

Powder: Titegroup, Bullseye, W231, and quite a few others. I use Titegroup and Bullseye since A.) they work well, and B.) I also use these two for .38 Spl and light .357M.

If all you can get for primers is magnum primers, then back your charge off a little, say half a grain, for similar results to regular primers.

Now: New 9mm ammo $0.40/round, reload: $0.20/round, half price.

Before the pandemic, I reloaded 9mm just for fun or for experiment, now I reload 9mm so I don't have to pay the high price of ammo.
New gun owners shoot mostly 9mm so they reload 9mm is a normal thing, later they will step up for another calibers. And the rules of 500 rds per month encourage people to reload.

I use any sp, spm or sr with 231 or HP-38.
I hear a lot about misfires with sr due to a stronger primer cups but I personally have not seen that with mine or my shooting buddies reloads, I’ve used many CCI and Rem sr. trouble free.
I have not tried srm yet but I am curious.

Win 231 for 9mm and .357. It works well for both for me.
