Yep, use 70’s and 80’s primers all the time. I’ve just about ran through all those older primers now though. Probably just a few thousand left.

I’m new to reloading and been collecting some supplies to get started. 45 9 223

PCs outdoors seemed to have good prices on xtreme 9 and 45 bullets
They charge shipping but no tax.

Capital cartridge seemed to have decent prices. And a 15% off. Varied reviews but I just needed some starter supplies and plan to collect and pickup brass moving forward.

Having trouble locating primer and powders like everyone.
Angeles said they have large pistol primers today.
I may stop by and see what powders they have.

If anyone has any good private sale lead let me know.
But will probably start loading my 45 since large primers are the only thing around.

That's a good round, for sure. Note that some .45 ACP ammo now uses SPP's, especially the ones that use those relatively new "lead-free" primers. Collect all of 'em, sort 'em, and load 'em up! That's what I do.

And please, everyone, when there's a glut, STOCK UP! And as you go through your supplies, keep your supply stocked up.

Yeah I’m learning that maybe the SPP and LPP option for the 45 is actually a positive in times like this. Can load either or both depending on supplies.

Thankfully I’m fully a stocked up on factory Ammo. But being in these crazy times are making me realize reloading is also super important. And it will make me feel more free to go to the range and practice rather then feel like I’m eating away at my stockpile with every trigger pull.
