Amazon can get me replacements on Sunday.

Bend that sucker back and keep going. If you are local to the east bay, I have extra lee recapping pins you can have. I also have some squirrel daddy pins I can sell you.

So, what's the standard procedure on cleaning pistol brass? Decap before or after cleanings?

(I have a Dillon 550.)

100% after cleaning. Shoot, Tumble, Reload.....repeat until brass splits or is lost.

Did 20 on my Lee and it bent. 5k on the squirrel one still good.

I'll try to bend it back since I'll just throw it away.

I already have some replacements in the mail, but I'll get some of those squirrelly decappers too.

Yeah, I have had good luck bending them back, just be careful not to gore the edges/sides with the "bendy-back" tool...

I thought I mentioned, this is from the Lee universal decamping die.

I got the universal deprimer so I wouldn't kill my Dillon dies.

The Dillon decapper on any of their pistol dies is much stronger than the lee.
