Case trimmer recommendations

WFT/WFT2 and CTS would be my choice(s).

Do you have to set a trim length on these or are they a fixed length for the caliber you choose?

I load for and trim a dozen or so rifle calibers. The first time I did 50 pieces of 300 winmag brass by hand, I vowed to never buy a rifle in a caliber that I couldn't get a Giraud case holder for. It's worth every penny, if you shoot and reload more than just a little bit, and in several calibers.

If you are wanting to process large amounts of brass, go with a Girard.

From the appearance and from the advice of others here, I'd say the Giraud is the way to go for production. On the other hand...

It hasn't been and I don't see a Forester & battery pack screw gun and 300 cases trimmed per month as an obstacle because I like to reload and to go shooting.

Yeah, well, try processing and loading 275-300 pieces of 223 brass on a monthly basis.

You'll start thinking of outsourcing the brass processing part or using a Giraud trimmer and a Chargemaster just to help you out.

So far I'm liking the Sinclair/L.E. Wilson RandyD suggested. It's not motorized but it looks to have the accuracy settings and capability I'm in search of.

It hasn't been and I don't see a Forester & battery pack screw gun and 300 cases trimmed per month as an obstacle because I like to reload and to go shooting.

I enjoy reloading process as well and used to use a manual trimmer (Redding 2400) and a powder throw (Redding BR 30).

After 1.5 years, I upgraded to a Giraud and a Chargemaster 1500 since I value my time.

If I can shift some of the time spent on the bench to shooting that's good. If that gives me more time to spend with family and friend even better.

For as meticulous as I am this seems to fit my needs more than speed at this point. Thanks for the input Caveman.

Reloading is fine. But don't forget to stay in shape and go shooting. Life is good.

Forester trimmer. Had one for many years. I used to resize a lot of 30-06 into 7.7 Jap, 7.65 & 8mm Mauser. I.d pull the handle off and run it with an electric drill.
