    Favorite Priming Tool?

Which brand/model priming tool is your favorite? Priming on the press just doesn't have the right feel for me to get positive feedback that the primer is seated correctly. I know there are a lot of options but I want one with a good feel to it and is easy to work with. Suggestions?

Back when i was using a single stage i used to use the lee hand priming tool, had ok feel but if you do a bulk run, you will have a mighty sore hand. I still have my hand priming tool but i am pretty happy with the priming functioon. Ive only had 3 out of 500 mess up. 2 that didnt feed a primer and one backwards primer.

I love how my LCT primes on the press. it is a tad clunky but works about 99.3% of the time.

I Often prime off the press though and when I do I use my RCBS Universal primer that uses the APS strips.

I LOVE that thing. I think I can do 25 9mm in about 16 seconds.

You don't own the correct press.

On a Dillon 550B priming is positive and high in feedback through the handle.

a side from that a standard RCBS hand priming tool get worked every month loading 200+ rounds for my competition ammo.

I have a single stage, so I decided to get a Lee bench primer. It works for me.

For single stage I really like the K&M. http://kmshooting.com/primer-tools/p...er-deluxe.html

RCBS hand primer since the 90's. Still works as well now as when I first bought it. Can't wear it out!

I use a newer RCBS hand tool. I like the universal shell holder thingie. The RCBS has better leverage and better feedback than the Hornady priming tool.

I have the RCBS bench primer. Not cheap, but pretty slick

The XL 650 primes really well.

The priming system on the RCBS turret looks pretty nice as a secondary...

I prime on my Lee turret press. I have a hand priming tool that I got in a lot purchase. I need to give it a try.

RCBS Bench Primer tool, or the Dillon 650 for bulk ammo.

Hand RCBS - too hard to load primers and flip ones upside down . I broke 2 of the plastic covers .
I use the cheap Lee with the paper chute thing . The upside down ones are flipped with a plastic chop stick .
What ever you get / decide on - make sure you have the right shell holder for your calibers - I never did find the shell holders for the RCBS 25 acp and 32 acp .
