I think Wes is talking about 100 rounds of porn (takes about 2 weeks but that will make ANYONE'S arm big...).

Napalm is referring to that time when he squeezed the lube bottle and someone left the lid loose and he squirted it all over and fell off the bed and injured his back.

Someoneeasy is referring to the "stranger" method.

      Hmm...

Yeah I am pretty sure this is no longer about reloading, well, maybe reload time, but not metallic reloading...

The OP is looking for a press to do small runs. The hand press will do that just fine. Some of us have different presses for different reasons. I have two single stage presses dedicated to loading one cartridge. One is just to use an expanderiron and the other is to decap, size and seat. I have several progressive presses to to do larger runs. I have one single stage press on my bench for quick jobs, using a collet puller, etc. I have multiple single stage presses for instructional purposes. I have a hand press for convenience and portability. However, my reasons really have nothing to do with the OP's wants or needs. He is looking for an inexpensive way to get into reloading and I suggested a hand press over a inexpensive single stage press.

CSACANNONEER has the right idea. If you have the money and space to set up multiple presses, it makes reloading more efficient and enjoyable.

I started with just a Dillon Square Deal B. Then I wanted to load rifle, so I bought a Lee Classic Cast single stage. Then I wanted to load rifle progressively...

I now have a Dillon 550B, a 650B, and a Super 1050. And an RCBS Rockchucker for random tasks, for which I don't want to disturb my main single stage loading setup.

I was thinking of getting another 650B and Super 1050 so I could have presses already set up for each primer size, but all my money has gone into buying a house.

Even with all this existing equipment, and not much spending money remaining, I recently still bought a Lee Hand Press so that I can take it to the range and do some impromptu load development.

This way, I only need to prepare about 3 to 5 rounds of each load combination, and load in coarser 2% powder charge increments. If any loads show promise, I can load more of those on the fly and also try slightly +/- powder charges without having to actually load up all the possibilities ahead of time.

This saves me the trouble of having to pull down all the extra loads that didn't work out.

I can also experiment with bullet seating depth much more efficiently now: I just load up a batch of rounds at the longest COL that I am going to test. Then at the range, I just use the hand press to seat the bullets progressively deeper to see how the group size changes with seating depth.

It's awesome. I spend more time at the range, and less time at the loading bench.

Heck, I took my handpress with me to Wyoming last year in case I needed/wanted to fine tune my hunting loads (and make a few more) at altitude and temp. A chrono, 1lb of powder, dies, calipers, projectiles, and primers go into a tool box with my cleaning stuff.

My garage / bench is barely big enough for the loadmaster - also have 2 vises , drill press , grinder , key machine , vibrator , tumbler , sonic - the single stage is on the removable thing-ee from Lee and the loadmaster sets on back of the tail gate when single stage is used . Under the bench is / are 3 cabinets - one for electrical , one for cars / trucks and one for air / water .
All the turrets for loadmaster are on a shelf - the shelves have my gun books, key manuals , car books and reloading cases and bullets . Between my nephews / nieces we reload about 15 calibers . I set up a 6 foot table for cleaning the guns .
My wife has the other side of garage for an ice box , refrigerator , pots for cooking and my gas BBQ .

I started with one of those back in 1969 for 357. Worked but was verrrrrrrry slow. After a couple month I stepped up to a RCBS Jr. press. Get a single stage new/used whatever you can afford. I'd suggest for a rifle cartridge you'd be happiest with a RCBS Rockchucker - $100-120 used. Then use your gift card for supplies.

You keep plugging your product even though on calguns, but you don't believe in signing up and contributing as a vendor on calguns?

You mentioned you couldn't find anywhere to contact anyone about becoming a vendor, but a few of us have directed you in the right direction. Do you just don't want to sign up as a vendor or do you just not care?
Someoneeasy: Pretty simple really... There isn't enough interest on this forum in my products to justify the $25 a month asking price for super small vendor status. I checked with Dave and that's the least he'd take.

No one here has bought my tool! But several people (like you) have *****ed about me putting it up here to test the waters.

I pay $100 a year at Cast Boolits for Vendor Status and sold 36 of my presses in two days there because they are reloaders and can actually see the value of my product! People here aren't. I've sold nearly 94 of these tools so far and all but 6 have went to Cast Boolits Members.

One guy here actually inquired, and then never bought.

I might add that I am up on several other boards and nobody anywhere else has even said anything to me about this subject that you continually bring up.

What exactly is your connection to Calguns? I don't think you have any. I think you just don't have anything better to do. The Advertising Director doesn't want your help, because all you do is run people off. That's what you have been doing to me!.

All I seem to get here is guys like you continuingly dogging me everytime I mention it. It's like you decided to be the Calguns Police, but your only target is me!

And yet where are you when somebody else posts somebodies Website for a product they bought and used on their AR? Nobody *****es about that?

I think you are just a hater with nothing better to do than put down someone's honest effort to make a few bucks in this state.

Simple answer to your question is,,, Nobodies buying here!,,, so I'm not going to throw money down a rat hole for no return.

Where do I start...... Ok, I only asked because you kept acting like you searched and searched and couldn't find where to sign up as a vendor. I was curious if people kept ignoring you or you still couldn't find out where to sign up.

I guess it doesn't matter anyway since we're not "reloaders" here. That has to be the reason nobody is buying from you.

Good for you, you're up on multiple boards, I'm glad you're on multiple boards and are having better luck selling over there, definitely stick to what works.

My connection to calguns? I use Spectrum internet to connect, sometimes from my phone, sometimes from my work computer, that's how I usually connect.

As for people posting other peoples websites that they bought products from to use for themselves, that's someone sharing their experience or deal that they found, not trying to promote their own products without being a vendor.

You can think of me however you want. If you truly feel that this site is a complete waste, then just stop trying to pitch your product. None of us here reload anyway, probably not going to change anything.

oh please no just get a cheap single stage some dies the perfect powder measure mount them to a 12 inch chunk of 3/4 plywood and clamp it to a table

i tried to be cheap i started with a lee 30 carbine set and after 100 rounds i swore i would never do this again but by god the steps of reloading are burned into me

the most terrifying bit was beating the case down onto the primer every time i was thinking its going to pop

i bought the large soft mallet from harbor freight for like $5 i used the polyurathane side

besides the rifle ones only neck size so you have to be careful with found brass it may not fit your chamber

so you will need a trimmer and debur tool so say another $40 for a possum hollow power and power adaper and another $10 for a rcbs or lyman debur tool (they fit in the possum hollow power adapter) i know you got to buy a bunch of stuff

maybe you should just buy wolf ammo

I like this thread. Kinda sorta finally getting an itch to fool around with some hand loading...maybe.

What if I wanted to do this

With the Lee classic kit, you would still need a scale and trimmer to make consistent and safe ammo. Yea, I know about the scoops and have used them but, you need to have a good technique to use them properly and they still limit you to a fixed volume of powder.
But cheap out on the trimmer? How 'bout the Lee Deluxe Quick Trim? Can that be used in the hand press or would it be too awkward?

Also, scales, what's the value scale? How 'bout an American made value scale? I see the RCBS are chicom now.

Because this is a free country and somebody like the OP might see the worth of the tool and look past all the haters.

Incidentally they started the hate exactly two posts into my first thread.

Same guys over and over. First they insinuated that I had stolen the idea, even though I had stated it was an 'Updated Design" of a 50 year old tool that was discontinued10 years ago in the first post!.

Then they started in on the "Not being a Vendor" dig, like it affects them in any way.

I find that people who have never created anything are the worst critics of those who do.

Rule #4 If all else fails, they call you a Racist!

It's not how well you do what you know how to do,,, It is how well you do what you don't know how to do.
