Prop 63 and the reloading community

Any legal beagles have thoughts about prop 63 limiting our supply of powder, bullets, cases, primers etc? Are we able to fly under the radar or is this affecting us too?

Prop 63 does not include reloading components. Give them time, it's coming.

It is coming. As soon as Gavin Newsome is elected. Others do not view it how I read it in Prop. 63, but "bullets" are addressed, but there is other language that makes it vague. I think lawmakers, the AG, and Governor will throw **** to the wall and see if it sticks. Also, do a search for ATF and Nitro-Cellulose.

Start stocking up now, a bit at a time.

The passage, sec 8.1, in 63 that includes bullets, along with "cartridge, clip, magazine, speed loader, autoloader, or projectile capable of being fired from a firearm with a deadly consequence" ammunition applies specifically to ammending the language of Sections 30305 and 30306 of the Penal Code. Those sections deal with prohibition of ownership of firearms and ammunition by criminals, and isn't addressing ammunition purchase by those lawfully allowed to own and purchase it. I think that, for the time being, we're GTG with components.

Agree with buying up in bulk before the exsanguination really begins.

FFL03 + COE holders are exempt from Prop 63 regulations regarding purchasing, transporting or importing ammo. Something to consider, plus then you can joyfully spend way too much money buying up C&Rs too.

                Stop talking about this please.

Stop spoonfeeding these worthless ****s in BALLSACKramento ideas that they can then use against more law abiding citizens.

If you want to talk then talk about how prop 63 fills you with the anger of ten tigers and you just want to stab them in the neck and then flay their skin to be used as a bathrobe for your children... Then maybe their next prop will be all about banning knifes and the art of flaying...

That did not sound too awkward did it?

I've watched YouTube videos of people shooting legomen in shotgun shells.

                    Where does that fit in?

Baloney. Then you might as well shut down the entire forum. When folks need answers and help with understanding how the new regs may affect them, where then, should they turn? Sacramento? Don't worry. The libtards on the hill WILL figure out about handloading, if they haven't already, whether we talk about it here or not. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

I totally agree. Read the bill yourself.

As for those that broadcast "I'm not going to comply"...... Shut up! it doesn't do the rest of us any good.
