Possible Lee Auto Drum Issue

Call lee or titan and they will send you out a new one in exchange. Trying to rig something up is going to lead to some powder issue and possibly injury.

My powder drum has made it close to 10K rounds so far and still strokes just fine.

I got the powder measure from Titan. I believe that I ordered within few weeks after they started to stock it. So far everything is in working order. I have not yet done a string of 10 to see if things have changed. If so, I will proceed as appropriate.

I usually type in "DEAL WITH IT BRAH!" and that gets them jumping...


Due to my schedule I have been buying more components and helping others lately, but I am starting to get back into the swing of things. Tomorrow I believe that I will be casting as many .45 HPs that I can while using my NOE brass 2 cav mold.

After that, I will be trying ladders on .45, but since the **** is setup for 9mm, I think I will PC some more 9mm today and crank out a few thousand of those before I switch back to .45 ACP. Besides, I sent a text to my friend and he never even replied so I guess he does not wanna come over and make some 9mm. WTFE I dunno what is wrong with the guy but oh well. Maybe it was something I said.

And I just found out that RCBS being as cool as they are has an upgrade feature that will allow you to upgrade the PC-5 to a PC-7. SO you can essentially buy your PC-5 now and if you NEED those extra 2 holes, upgrade later on for a few hundred dollars more...

Until then, I am gonna stabilize my Lee and fire up the red Dillon killer and see how it handles the new priming pieces.

I said on that space "reporting potential problem" I will see what is their response by Wednesday.
I am slowly buying component as well. Lately I have been tossing the idea of casting as well. Last month I was able to get 250 lbs of lead. One piece (174 lbs) was tested between BHN 9-10 using artist pencil. The rest was WW for semitrucks and there were few pieces that were smelted and those were like 14-15 BHN. Probably WWs that were water quenched.
Anyways, as I read more about it I might have some question later.

I sent them an e-mail last night. I told them, I expected them to answer my question.

It might actually be a way that they can look at route the issue to someone who is best able to assist.

Keep getting it. Stock up on lead now, the cool thing is that you can store it in a pile outside and it will typically be okay. I of course have to keep mine protected, but i am looking around for a decent spot where I can put it outside so the next time I make ingots, I can just walk over and shovel it all in... (yes, there is no shoveling the plates and pieces that I have)

I do think I will clean out my car and grab some more from Philips though.
