Ordered it on Sunday it arrived on Tuesday, put it together the little time I had yesterday and today. It makes my Lee turret press look like a baby. Set the dies, powder measure, filled up with powder and primers. Weigh 3 dozen or so powder drops, then started reloading. All I can say is WOW, what a smooth machine. I added the skylight to the press well worth the 40 dollars. I loaded 200 rounds in a flash, visualized every charge, and weigh several in between. Using the last of my bullseye and accurate drops. I will not need the powder check Die for 9 mm, the light is awesome, and can see in case very well on each charge. I wish I would have bought it sooner. Thanks for everyone wisdom.

I've been told these presses don't load very good ammo...
EDIT: I should have put a winky or something on there also, to show I was j/k
I have a 650 and love it!

Yes I made sure I bought the case feeder and deluxe conversion kit for 40. Next case trimmer and 223 setup. but that will have to wait.Comment

I find I have no issues with seeing my powder charges when loading rifle rounds when using the lights.Think Like I DoComment

It varies for the different cases though. Rifle cases are more difficult due to the length of the cartridge and the fact that they are more than not necked, making the top smaller.
It also depends on how much powder and how high it is in the case. 223 is easier for me to see than 308, but I like to look at the case as it comes up through position 3 in some cases.
Handgun cases are very easy to see as they are much shorter in length and flat wall.
For me, most all of my loads will spill powder for a double charge, but there are handgun loads which will not.
Dangers lurk most everywhere in the reloading process, best to pay as much attention as possible to avoid them! Even people that have reloaded for 25+ years make mistakes on occasion. One can never be too careful, and having a powder charge alarm on the Dillon is extra insurance.

Ok when I bought my 650 long ago it came in the box, I have found that the audible bell noise is a good waker upper when i get going.
Mostly it buzzes when OVER full but that is always due to walnut polishing stuff stuck in the case.Comment

I'd highly reccomend getting yourself a spare parts kit if you haven't already. These things are well made but you will bend springs and what not. At least if you have a spare parts kit you can have your machine running while your part is on the way free of charge from Dillon.Originally posted by ar15barrelsSo you are throwing out 95% of reality to select the 5% of reality where you are actually right?
