Lead Ammo

As lead ammunition is becoming a thing of the past for us weekend shooters. Is there any manufactures that still produce lead ammunition or is it basically only reloaded ammunition in the market place? Being a fairly new shooter and the closest indoor range which is quite dated will only allow lead rounds out of fear of ricochets. I am currently in the market for ready to shoot ammunition and not knowledgeable enough in the field to reload.

Remember, these are moly coated. I have been shooting theses for 20 years and I have no complaints.

I may be wrong but as it looks on the Bear Creek website, they only sell bullets and not completed rounds.
If you know of someone who sells completed ammunition using Moly bullets i would be interested in purchasing some.

Gun Broker and the typical online places still sell it all over.

Reloading is a very easy thing to do once you read a few pages and buy some equipment... This is a perfect time for you to reload.

What calibers do you want to shoot? I bet it is .38/.357 or something like that... SOMETHING Rimmed hehe. Those have got to be the EASIEST to reload for.

Only in California, and only in typical hunting calibers.

As of now, the only laws against lead ammo are when used for hunting.

Last time I was at BassPro, there was plenty of standard ammo available.

Unfortunately, I barely find enough time to fit in range time. I am looking for enough ammo to shoot at the local indoor range when I don't want to make the hour drive each way to the closest outdoor range.

There were some ammo shortages after Black Friday and the San Bernardino attack, but as of now, there are no issues with handgun ammo availability at BassPro or even Walmart.

Just about everywhere that sells ammo will have lead based ammo for target practice.

Perhaps when you went to the local gun shop for ammo, you accidentally walked into the nail salon next door, and that's why you think there's a shortage?

Hey Smartass. This isn't Facebook. If you would have read the initial comment you would have seen that I said the local antique outdated range will not allow hard bullets out of fear of ricochets.
It's unfortunate that social media mentality jerk offs like you chase new shooters from forums like this that are merely here to get some information.

Lol have you looked at say Walmart, big 5, online, anywhere really for that matter? As stated before, its rather hard to find pistol ammo that ISN'T leaded plinking ammo.
