Thanks for all the info. It take me a few days to go through it and then I'll put it up for sale or trade on marketplace.

I picked up a Hornady hand primer and am absolutely in love with the thing so priming the brass may not be a PIA if your relaxing and killing time. I primed 100 223 in like 3 minutes. Still need to deprime but depriming only takes a few seconds. I always heard but never researched the whole primed brass and shipping. I guess if you didn't make money off the primers then some people may buy it over brass that needs deprimed and primed. I broke a priming pin once and went like a year sizing without depriming. Primed rifle brass would mean you would not be able to use a Lee trimmer I guess.

So I just looked an 1000 cnt of reconditioned/primed 9mm brass from top brass is $153.00. Now I know that no one here would buy processed brass from private party ( I would not ) but makes you think about the possibility.

CALGUNS DICTIONARY "FLIER": when a shooter wants to turn a 1 inch group to a half inch group because he flinched.

I would add; the gov doesn't set the hazmat shipping price. That's UPS and FedEx. They could probably charge less... and then the hazmat shipping rules wouldn't be such a !@#. If it were $5 or $10...

Before you go buy weight weigh a sampling of the brass you have on hand.
Norma or Weatherby 300 brass weighs 220 grains and RWS weighs 300 grains.

Yeah that is why I lie on all of my packaging. Hey **** em if they can't take a joke...

There sure is something sporting about shipping a case of primers and 22 lbs of powder to a guy across the country, the sporting part is to get it there without blowing it up because there is no padding...
