I have both but find myself more often on Netflix. I switch over to Amazon when I'm not finding anything interesting on Netflix, however the terrible interface on Amazon usually chases me back to Netflix pretty quickly.

I use all three, Netlfix, Prime and Hulu on my Xbox 360. we use netflix more than Hulu and Hulu more than Prime.

Netflix has a larger selection, Hulu has current shows and both have a MUCH better app experience to that of Prime. I hate to use the prime app on the Xbox. Very clunky.

If you have a Roku you plug in both accounts and just do a search. It then shows you where the selected title can be found, and the interface doesn't really change. I got one for my wife for Christmas, and works well.

I have a few ROKU units and I did not know that. Thanks for the tip! I usually just access stuff through the Smart TV apps.

I have both, and netflix is used more. But amazon prime is almost I paid for by promotional $10 and $15 because amazon keeps screwing stuff up. Like 2 day guaranteed shipping, ends up arriving in over a week because they shipped it 5day ground...

The interface is up to the hardware you're running on.

Both services' interfaces are great on my Wii. Both services interfaces suck on my Sony Bluray player.

If your going to choose Amazon Prime do it soon. Prices will be going up!!

Amazon.com said it may raise the annual price of its popular Prime subscription by as much as $40 as the world's largest Internet retailer battles higher shipping costs.

As much as I use Amazon, the prime is still worth it.

We have had Prime for a while just for the shipping and subscription deals, etc... I have had Netflix since the early days of streaming. Netflix has had a huge head start to polish the interface, codecs, etc... I run Netflix on a ton of platforms (Google TV and different smart TV's, Android, IOS, PS3; the usual ones) and the interface and menus are great.

Amazon Prime not so much. I just started using the movies option on Prime so maybe I will get used to it, but it seems to need work. I usually check NETFLIX, Xfinity, and then Prime maybe. As far as shipping, I use Prime for work and home orders weekly.

I have Netflix. I do see the upside to both. Depends on what hardware you are going to stream the media on. PC will not be a problem. But if you are using some sort of streaming media player connected to your TV or a smart TV you may have some research to do. Most smart TV and streaming media players support Netflix out of the box. I am not sure about Amazon video. If your devices support it, you regularly order from Amazon, and Amazons video selections is to your liking I guess go with Amazon.

I have both. Netflix has better TV shows and more devices have Netflix Apps. Plus Chromecast works with Netflix now, but Amazon might be following soon.

Amazon has better Military Documentaries or at least more of them, and gives free shipping.

Both are about the same on new movies, I think Amazon might keep them on the site a little longer than Netflix, but they almost have the exact selection. Its like a Starz package or something. Both are pretty weak on movies.

Netflix has a far better selection.

And only the Amazon tablets have the Amazon Instant Video app. No other Android devices have it.
