On an interesting note, it's weird how applicants who claim to be avid Linux users don't understand file permissions and filesystems. One quarter, every single applicant I interviewed couldn't explain to me what an inode is. And these were Computer Science majors.

I started reading through, I think it was the 2nd edition when I downloaded it many years ago, before I got my gig right now, when I was studying for "MCP" at that time... so I ran out of *IX study-time. 4.3 weeks of Windows-user-support via Pear Linux now, of course I hit Windows up all day for x and y issues, a lot of "monkey"-user-error-typos. Later, Slackware had the Kernel supported wireless functionality I was looking for, and Redhat didn't.

Solved:

While in windows I opened up a CMD prompt, I do not think I needed to have admin run (run with elevated rights).

I saw the folder (which I was able to rename and move) and I typed the following:

dir /x
rmdir "folder name" /s
That asked me if I wanted to remove it and I said yes and the whole thing was deleted...

Freaking stupid POS OS... BTW, the files were HIDDEN system files that actually ATE other files. How did they eat them? Simple, When I made a NEW txt file I copied the filename of one of the FOUR bad files that had some weird greek to me letters and I pasted them into the new files that I made, then I put a . at the end and the new files that I made magically deleted, but the old bad files were still there... So anyways, yeah WTFE. Gone...
