Path to Exile, what D3 should have been.

Do far it does play like D2LOD, you can really lose a lot of time. Went on yesterday at 8pm and looked at the time and it was already 11pm, felt like 5 minutes.

I guess its free to play.

Yeah, my wife started playing it last night... it seems like an improved version of LoD with the skill tree from Final Fantasy X thrown in. It's interesting and certainly good, but I can't say that it's what D3 should have been. Blizzard took a different approach than usual with D3 and I can't fault them for it--the game turned out reasonably well and managed to address some of D2/LoD's shortcomings in unexpected ways.

Yea, definitely a shot at Blizzard right there. I'll have to give this a try, looks promising.

Game is still being worked on. I think it runs on openGL, would be easy to convert over to Mac.

Thats because they made it to work on real computers, not toys...

Its a pretty good game. I like it so far. I ripped through D3 and then it was like "now what?". For all the hype there wasn't much there. Path of Exile has some promise. Massive skill tree!

Thanks for the heads up. The game looks great and the skill tree seems awesome.

Count me as another D3 refugee. I left after playing through a couple weeks and finding it to be lacking.....
