Useing Xbox

Wow!!! I'm on my Xbox surfing the web. New update today added internet explorer. Calguns looks normal and useing my controller to navigate. Very cool indeed.

I use it as a window media center extender.

I bought. 3 tuner for comcast from silicon dust. Using wmc I can now use the computer with unlimited HD space dvr. Currently using. 2 TB HD as dvr storage. Once a job is acquired I plan onsetting up a multiple drive NAS setup...

Unlike the 160 gb dvr I rent from comcast.

So with the Xbox I can now put another TV somewhere else and enjoy wmc up the yingyang...

I had my XBOX (OG) modded and the guy hooked it up. It was running XBMC, Dam% Small Linux, and emulators galore, and could rip any DVD/Game/CD to the drive for disk-free playing. It was really nice for back in it's day.

What's really cool too is setting up your 1st Linux box (non-*Buntu ) out of old-crap (one might have sitting in the garage) that you wouldn't otherwise use w/ any modern version of Windows (especially non-GUI Slackware surfing in a txt-only browser, my lady got a kick out of it, many a year-ago).

Yeah it came out last week along with a free game. But they didn't advertise until yesterday. I really like it but hate that there is no flash player. Which really sucks.

Yeah I was noticing that adobe flash is a no go..... That part sucks.

I know a lot of people complained about that during the beta. But despite that it still is leaps and bounds ahead of the wii or ps3's internet. I like how easy it is to surf. Now I just wish they would make the YouTube app a little more user friendly. Like the new YouTube app on phones

I have a 2tb drive too, the xbox I set up as an extender always hangs & won't load the library. It's on Netgear wifi btw, you have any issues?

Its called happy wars. Its pretty fun. You have to fight a. Enemy and there are three classes to choose from. Cleric, soldier, and medic. Or something like that. You use avatar like people. Its pretty neat, I really like it. Its knights and images stuff I think they stole the kings daughter and you fight to.rescue her if I remember correctly. I haven't played it in awhile due to school.

IE is surprisingly decent on the X360.

As for Happy wars, it's worth a download. It's pretty fun, for free.

Yeah I was surprised to finally see a web browser on my 360. It needs flash player, but it us still an improvement over not having a web browser at all.

not since i changed routers and went all gigabit WIRED setup...

I've been trying this out and it gets most website correct. Some little things here and there are still problematic though and only some youtube videos play through it.
