Then there were spinoff copycats that would change their name differently and pretend to hack. LoL.

Ah yes those were the days. RxP (Prescription for Pain) effectively got dismantled when some asshat Canadians got their butts whipped by us and then changed their name to -RxP- (Prescription for Pwnage)and started hacking and I will admit, they were good at it, but it ruined it and we ended up falling apart cause we could not play anywhere without getting kicked/banned and that really sucks when you only have a few servers to play on and you wanna meet new people. Although we were in good with a few others and hosted a LAN party or two. (well I did not, but we were a part of it) .

I really miss those days. It is fun to compete. Wow, they need to make a movie about a group of 7 guys in their 40s that wanna get back into the action and they build game computers and go to the upcoming tourney and when they say their team name everyone STOPS because they were so awesome that the name was legendary and then they just get their *** handed to them in the tourney by the first team of 12 year olds that they plan on the first ladder rung. So they play and practice and come back the next year to WIN. Now THAT would be awesome. And it HAS to have Vince Vaughn and Kevin James with that Black Dude from Die Hard (not the limo driver or the cop, the bad one that was cracking the safe).

OH OH! And they gotta have a chick too, maybe Meryl Streep or Julia Roberts.

This is MY idea and you saw it FIRST right here! You are all my witnesses when it ends up in court and I sue Warner Brothers for stealing my plotline!

Alrighty, I will see what I can do but NO PROMISES. If I can get Ben on board I dunno how he will handle a nude scene. MAYBE if there is a type of Revenge of the Nerds/ Porky's scene at the beginning of the film with the younger kids spying on the chicks after P.E. or something. But it could be at a Junior College so there we go. Damn this is gonna blow up and I might have to search for some "talent". LoL, strip nude for Stilly! girls with bigger tatas and apple bottoms get picked first! Oh yeah, I aint gonna be ON the audition couch, I will BE the COUCH! :{D

Back in my college days my friends ran a server from their dorm room. Another friend also ran a server from the dorms but he liked to do things like turn the gravity off or turn it to negative.

This was when CS was in beta still.

In my opinion, they need more new maps to make it worth the $20 for GO.

I REMEMBER the low gravity maps and then to fix it you had to sv_gravity 20 in the console. (with admin access of course).

Some of those maps were hella fun though, like the low grav de_rats and in some cases the fy_iceworld maps too...

Wow I forgot the maps names but damn, Maybe I should just fire up CS 1.6 againa nd see if my old favorite servers are still around...
