As much as I like the Egg, I like to keep my options open, and always welcome a deal.
For us local CA people, they have a couple retail shops too with In Store only deals... I remember getting my Intel i7 920 proc when they came out from Microcenter for about $80 cheaper than Newegg. They still have deals, and its just another place to shop thats newegg caliber for service and prices.Last edited by ExtremeX; 01-09-2012, 3:54 PM.ExtremeXComment

Thanks for all the feedback, I went ahead and ordered from Newegg. Hopefully everything will show up quickly and work in my system. Realized I needed to upgrade my comp if I wanted to affectively kill any jedi scum in Old Republic.

I have ordered from them numerous times for the past 6+ years.
I have built several computers from the components I have bought from them & I have never had to return anything.
The only thing I dont like is it takes forever to process the order.....it should be same day shipping but they charge extra for "expedited processing"Comment

i also have spent many thousands of dollars on newegg.com....
usually my go-to place for a new gpu. fry's & microcenter have also gotten a fair share of my hard earned cash as well- all depends on who has the best price at the time i am in the market for something. newegg is also a good place to go for reviews on products before buying.....
i must also mention my favorite pc store that is no longer with us......
PC Club (sighs)

If you need something shipped ASAP then its newegg you want. Back when they used fedex for their free shipping, I used to get my stuff the next day! I remember when the egg used to give away little gifts with most orders :sigh:
Tigerdirect is also a good online retail with decent prices.
Fry's has good prices but beware of their computer parts specials, its mostly refurb crap.
Microcenter usually has a great deal on an i7 cpu.
Also price check on froogle.com.
Slickdeals.net and bensbargains.net have great deals posted daily.Comment
