Debating ordering some ram from them, was wondering who all has had good or bad experiences? I noticed they were california based and on the cheap side of the tech hardware.

I've purchased from newegg hundreds of time with no issues what so where.
They are very quick with shipping and processing. Their return policy is excellent. I've had very good experiences dealing with RMA and returns to them.
Newegg is located in the city of industries. -
NewEgg has always had stellar customer service and they're fast as can be with shipping... especially around Southern California where with the cheapest shipping it's next day (one of their main warehouses is in City of Industry). For returns/exchanges, they usually are willing to cross-ship. Occasionally if it comes from a different warehouse (NV or NJ) it takes a bit of time, but it's never unreasonable.Comment

I've bought numerous times from Newegg as well. However, something I should mention. If you see a price that you like, check out Fry's. They'll price match internet prices as well. And many of their existing prices are about the cost of online prices, minus shipping.
So really the only difference is, do you want to use gas money to go to your local fry's, or possibly pay for shipping, depending on the price from newegg. Either way you're paying tax so...

I have ordered many times from newegg. Most recently I ordered RAM for my iMac. They had the best price around for the best product and it got here fast. I'd definitely use them again.Comment

NewEgg, when they were starting were fantastic. Free shipping on many items, free returns, no questions asked, free stuff with your order. Now that they've gotten bigger, they charge shipping on almost everything, prices aren't that good, shipping on returns has to be paid, etc.
I get most of my stuff from Amazon now since I have Prime and prices are the same.Comment

I can agree with a lot of this too. This past year, Newegg has really turned more into a Frys selling all sorts of stuff now... Appliances, Jewelry and other non tech/pc related items. They really used to be focused on computers and computer builders.
Its a little bit of a turn off to me, and their prices arnt as competitive as they used to be.
Even with that said its still one of my "go-to" online places to shop.ExtremeXComment

I've spent about 8,000 with new egg in the past years..(looking at my order history) they are awesome ..however I'm sad to say lately I've been buying items from amazon instead due to lower prices.
