About 2 or 3 times a year I drag my computer outside, pull the covers off and take the air hose to it.
It's absolutely amazing how much dust and hair blows out!

I believe that Stop Error 0x0000000A is often associated with a RAM problem.
Maybe yours had flaky contacts or an overheat problem.

Glad you got the issue resolved.

I've done this before for BSODs... Type the entire stop code into google and chances are, somebody's already gone through it and posted their solution online. The webs are cool that way.

He ended up having to pull the heat sink and clean it under a faucet. Runs perfect now. I know this was suggested early on, but apparently my version of clean was not up to par. Though, not having ever looked at it closely in the light, I had no idea my processor was caked in dust adobe. Oh well, lesson learned. I'm just glad it was shutting down instead of murdering my hardware.
Heatsink fins have a way of getting dust built up in them, you need to clean it out twice a year. No need to pull it though, just remove the fan and push something through the fins to knock it out.

Yeah, It definitely wouldn't have been an issue if I had been cleaning regularly. The computer is about 4 years old and I'd never cleaned the inside, just the intake filter. 4 years of crud definitely warranted pulling the heat sink, though.
