          Iphone. The simplicity of the software is just ridiculous. I have friends with Droids and trying to set things up on their phone compared to the iphone is just silly.

            Android phones are not "for dummies" Like the other posts said, they can get much more technical although they offer much user adjustment and allow for more control over security. By offering secure phone line connections( Redphone) that do not lend themselves to wiretaps and security wipes of the phone.

            iphones, controlled by apple can not do this.

                By choosing a easy to use phone is not a dummy. But Commenting those such is the real dummy. And also an idiot. Choosing an iphone is a personal preference.

                    Sorry Akoba, when I put the term "for dummies" in quotes, I was refering more to the series of self help books

                    and in no way was referring to the intellectual level of an iphone owner.

                    Another plus is rooting of the android phones.

                    Another plus for the iphone is that they are very sexy.

                          I have the motorola Droid x2 and it works for me.Phone is old school now with the new Droid Razr and Galaxy S .I am not a fan of Apple's operating system or the glass screen that is easily broken if dropped.The hardware is beautiful on the idrone.Some of my co- workers, brother and daughter have the iphone and love it .Motorola and android are a-ok for me.

                              Personally I would say iPhone. I've had plenty of Force Closures on Android. Battery isn't great on most android devices, unless you turn everything useful off... Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth and lower the Brightness. I've owned the iPhone before (iPhone 3G) and that thing lasted over 29 hours while being used... Generous Web Browsing, Texting Constantly, Google Maps, and maybe a total of 80 minutes of calling. If battery life was better on Android, I'd easily vote for Android. I personally hate having to carrying my Cellphone Charger around. If I owned a car, I probably wouldn't mind as much because I'd just use a Car Charger. Good luck on your search! P.S. I've owned many blackberries and I've loved them (except the trackball issues).

                              iPhone = Jailbreaking
                              Android = Rooting

                              Jailbreaking allows you to perform modifications and/or install apps that weren't available in the App Store.

                              Rooting allows you to use an app such as Root Explorer to perform manual modifications to the system. Similar to Linux Root (its essentially Administrator Access on your phone). Some apps in the Android Market require Root. Certain Wifi Tethering Apps require root, Root Explorer requires root
