    Android or iPhone?

My Blackberry is pretty much a boat anchor and keeps failing on me. I am staying with AT&T and my 2 yr contract is up. I can get a new phone. I need it for work e-mail, some work apps that are available on both platforms. Browsing the web, maybe a game or two. Just curious what other apps I can use, since nothing works right on my Blackberry.

I have heard Androids are getting attacked by malware and viruses. iPhone is proprietary Apple and Android is more open source? Or do both have to be jailbroke?

p.s. I have zero Apple products, everything is PC based. Do I have to use iTunes for the iPhone?

if you have an exchange server i would go with the iphone. i have a bunch of clients with exchange email on android devices and its not nearly as reliable.

im sure some people here have androids with working exchange. but in my experience, the iphone works better.

other then that its really personal preference.

we have both, and exchange server. Really happy eith my thunderbolt although its probably outdated already. my droid can do more than my ipad (to me) whatever you do, get the most expensive phone there is, because you are stuck with it for 2 years, and it will be outdated in 3 months anyways

if your not a heavy user and just want a phone you may be ok with the iphone but if you want to do a lot of things and consider your self tech savvy get an android phone.

I do enjoy how iphone user's are more likely to say they "lead" makes me laugh a little considering they buy the thing with the apple without knowing anything about the device.

There are no viruses or malware on Android at this point in time.

Android phones have much bigger screens and offer more choices in hardware specs.

The iPhone has a much better camera.

iPhone users like things simple. Android users like to configure things to suit their needs and aren't afraid of a challenge.

If you liked and understood the movie Inception, then an Android phone might better suit you. If you didn't like or understand Inception; an iPhone might be right for you.

Check out Windows Phone, the Samsung Focus S, better than both in terms of UI and productivity. Top notch exchange and office integration, try it and ignore the sales guys.they have different motivation

and our leaders allow themselves to be spoon fed with foreign BS and have forgotten that the great majority of americans do not live in secluded gated comunities with private security 24/7 like they do, while the rest of us are subject to defending ourselves without Police escorts whenever we need it. they dont realize we are subject to different dangers than they are, and we must have and keep the right do defend ourselves!

No contract Lg optimus V on virgin mobile. $45 a month for unlimited data, text, and 1200 minutes. Best cell phone decision I've ever made. I couldn't be happier with the phone and service. Target will have the phone for $49 on black friday. The phone couldn't be easier to use and runs great. If you think android is hard to use I'm surprised you're able to butter your own toast.

Androids are great if you're the type of person that enjoys having your phone freeze a lot.
If you're one of those people that likes things that work, go with an iPhone.
