Sorry, I can't remember... I thought I had the receipt on my desk but I don't see it here. I'll post back up if I find it.

I want to say that it took maybe two weeks til I received the box from Apple, but my memory is very hazy on that. Note they sent me an actual box vs a padded envelope, so I guess I was early enough to get a box but late enough to get a more recent Nano!

It looks like they have streamlined their process. I received my envelope on the 19th, mailed it on the 20th, they received it on the 22nd and my status jumped from service requested to product replacement pending on the night of the 23rd. I will post when I receive my replacement.

Just checked out Ebay for 1st gen nano. They have a lot for sale. $40 to 90, depending upon the gigs.

I'm jealous, no news for me yet. I have been using my nano with my car stereo and have read that it will no longer work with the newer generations without a converter. Anybody have any recommendations?

Got my replacement Nano today. It is a 6th generation 8gig. Not bad.
