I use mine every night. It's the before sleep relaxation gadget. I surf the web, read books and play games. It is also great for large screen facetime with my grandson. I thought it would be collecting dust by now when I bought an android tab a few months ago, but I'm just not feeling the love with android.

Makes for good restroom reading.. lol

I'll browse FlipApp and the web on it when watching TV.

I bought a logitech keyboard for it in case I needed something smaller than my laptop & case on a trip where I had to be ready to work on a server remotely and communicate over IM easily if something came up with work.

        Self defense.

The bullets with my name on it I'm not worried about, it's the "To whom it may concern" ones I'm worried about.

I was one of those people that just didn't see the utility in owning an iPad. I bought one this past summer and now I use it a lot, especially for work.

When I need quick info It's much more convenient to just pick up and turn on VS waiting for my laptop to boot.

I have all my charts, call sheets, manuals, checklists, screenplays, and story boards at instant access at work.

Penultimate is awesome (with stylus) for quick lists.

It's a life saver on plane rides. The battery will last you at least a 7 hour flight and having all those games and videos on tap is a godsend.

I consider my iPad a "tweener" device that is great to use while traveling when bulky items are not ideal. The benefit is that I can do very simple and critical work communication via email while in any part of the country. It's pretty cool to surf wifi for 5 bucks at 30k feet as well. We also have an app that allows me to access my sales force automation tools while remote which is an added bonus. I do the typical web surfing stuff as well.

What is this "pron" that everyone speaks of?

I love it for work... being able to add mutiple exchange email accounts is great, same with calender and contacts.

Store a lot of PDF manuals, flyers, work docs, presentations and such.

Web, Games, and AirPlay to an Apple TV is one of the best features ive seen in a long time. Nice to be able stream music to the home theater w/o wires. Sure beats the built in speakers.

Im not a huge apple fan, I dont own a mac since I am a PC systems admin... but I think they really got the iPhone and iPad right. The level of integration is well done.

I still wish I was able to get one of those HP touchpads for $99 bucks, would have made a great work beater.

Since the tablets came out, I dont really use my laptop anymore. Jaadu RDP has replaced the need for a laptop since I can still get Windows Desktop on the iPad over a VPN...

I use it for entertainment: watching all those apple fanboys waste huge money on these things makes me laugh.

We use it around the house. It is the main way to get on the internet at home. And to be honest, we could do so much more with it.

I don't use it for work. Most of my work is done using spreadsheets and AutoCAD. Because it spends so much time at home, I don't use if for e-mail. It would be great, but my wife would not be happy to pick it up and show 150 new e-mails.

i sent this email earlier tonight

"sent from my ipad, remote controlling my office computer, from the restroom".

i think we are too connected. from the droid phone, to iPad, to the laptop, to the desk pc..

                              sent from my windows laptop

sometimes, i wonder if people just put that in just to brag they are sooo mobile and working all the time, even on mobile devices. LOL
